Food review-Kylin Premier & Skybar

“You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.”-Paul Prudhomme.
Accepting this focal fact about food, till the time human kept on experimenting with varieties of cuisines either at home or by ranging over divergent eateries based on every corner of their cities. Sometimes to satisfy their taste buds people go beyond confines. But what if we have a chance
-to relish the most authentic oriental cuisine
-alloy with high quality options of bar menu with first of it’s kind Sky bar in the city
-with experience of rare live grill affair of signature Teppanyaki and Sushi platters under the open sky
With plethora of attributes you wish to get absorbed by soothing azure of the “Kylin Premier and the Skybar” in Ambiance Mall of Vasant Kunj.
By matter of fortuity, I received the invitation of food review which was a random opportunity, noteworthy if you are not a food blogger. It was dinner time and on my arrival, staff led me to the cosy, comfy corner of the place, it’s patterned sliding bars dropped me in the resemblance of any Japanese house. There I met 2 food bloggers who already seated with the owner of the place, “Mr. Saurabh Khanaijo” who is such a generous , courteous personality that his such level-headed essence was adding further appealing aura to the ambience.
After a brief introduction exchange, we were offered with Red wine and Chicken Sicilian Style. A flawless mouth watering dish made up of chicken breast tossed in lemon, tomatoes, onion ring, chilly flake, rosemary and baked potatoes. Meanwhile Saurabh was continuing in lighten up the vibes with his infectious humour and updated our comprehension about the offered delicacies. They renders two style of Japanese cooking- Robotayaki and Teppanyaki. Here, you can also familiarize yourself with live Teppanyaki grill from which I tried smacked Wok fried diced chicken with smoked chillies partnered with White Wine and some veggies from the same section, but Salmon Sushi grabbed the limelight.
Either you can stretch your legs in the cozy and warm lower section to vibrant up your evenings or to settle on the roof top to dine with the star with the wide range of bar section. With other latecomer food bloggers, on insistence of staff we moved to the upper section which was aesthetically decorated by the cream colour curtains enveloping the plush seating cabanas; a kitchen garden flourished various useful cookery plants and a skybar. A perfect illustration for a romantic mellow dinner for two or for a brunch in winter’s noon with family and friends.
Kylin recently launched the Sunday Sundowner Brunch, that costs for 995 INR p.p that includes unlimited beer and barbeque offerings; 1495 INR p.p (for unlimited whisky and barbeque offerings) and 2100 INR p.p (for unlimited Champagne and barbeque offerings) between the time slot of 12 P.M-5P.M. It is the longest Sundowner that could charge up your noon from live music and DJ, so that you can sunbathe yourself in this winter with non stop entertainment which would be a nutty initiative enough to spoil anyone.
Those canopies made me fall in love and drifted me down in the resemblance of a sight from Middle East. Furthermore, with such huge varieties of haute cuisines, vegetarians can too savour the sumptuous variations for them. Eggplant with teppanyaki rice and a bowl full of green thai curry with rice were couple of good options available.
“Chicken, onion & Pesto sticks” was the fusion of cube of chicken, baby onion, bell pepper and zucchini that marinated with pesto before grill, that gained my tenderness, but divine Bochoy and black Mushroom Dimsum stole the show. I tried Traditional maki Sushi Rolls with nori on the outside and Sushi Roll with avocado and Shitake Soy Ginger Sauce might be as first timer it didn’t go well but  otherwise this place is a crux for Sushi lovers. For sake of satisfied companionship with food I chose White Wine, cosmopolitian, Green Apple Martini.
Due to shortage of time I couldn’t complete my dinner cycle and had to leave my dessert possibilities. It’s a must- must visit place, to satisfy your tummy with Asian recipes with belle surroundings.
Note: Though I was invited by Kylin Premier and Sky bar but all views are my own, unbiased.
